The iPads back by the laptop cart can now be checked out! They are on the same check-out pattern as the laptops, so three hour use. Unlike the laptops, people should be told that these need to stay in the library. We're not ready to let them leave the building yet.
The code for the combination lock on the charging station is on the front page of the ISD site. When you're ready to lock it again put it on the combination used to unlock it, close the lock, and then change the number. It should then be locked. Instructions about connecting them to the wireless network will also be posted there as soon as they are completed (some time in the next couple days).
When someone returns an iPad, make sure that the screen doesn't have any cracks and plug it back into the corresponding number slot in the charing cart. You don't need to do anything else. It will automatically sync by itself.
